Every year, Pantone, the world-renowned leader of color and provider of color systems and technology in the design industry, releases it's choice for Color of the Year. Pantone’s Color of the Year has influenced product development and purchasing decisions in multiple industries, including fashion, home and industrial design, as well as product packaging and graphic design. For 2014, Pantone has chosen Radiant Orchid, PMS 18-3224, as its Color of the Year, saying that it "blooms with confidence and magical warmth that intrigues the eye and sparks the imagination. It is an expressive, creative and embracing purple—one that draws you in with its beguiling charm. A captivating harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid emanates great joy, love and health".
We think Radiant Orchid is a gorgeous shade of purple that shows great creativity and spirit. This color will be prominent in the beauty, fashion, and home design industries and is sure to be a hot trend-setter for 2014.
